Research Area:

Physiological aspects of medicinal plants especially in relation to development of new variety and agro technology of the developed crop.

Area of interest:

Varietal development, breeding, improvement of desired characters of medicinal plants through Hybridization.

Scientific contribution:

Developed a elite variety of Withania somnifera named AGB002 which is high root yielding( 8-10 q/h) and promising pharmacological activities. Variety is under process for registration at NBPGRI, New Delhi
